
A versatile soprano with a career defined by artistic and academic excellence, Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Manhattanville College. Recently retired after a distinguished 32-year tenure with the Somers Central School District, she dedicated her career to instructing students of all ages in musical theater, chorus, and general music. Her pedagogical expertise extended to her work as a vocal instructor at Putnam Music and her private studio in Katonah. Suzanne had the distinct privilege of conducting the WSCMA Intermediate Chorus at the Annual Choral Festival held at SUNY Purchase.
As a classically trained soprano, Suzanne is a prominent soloist throughout Westchester County and Connecticut, appearing at the Richter Association for the Arts in Danbury. Her performance highlights include a solo recital of American Song and Opera for the Caramoor Center for the Arts Performers’ Showcase Series and a featured appearance with Collegium Westchester, performing Samuel Barber’s evocative Knoxville: Summer of 1915. Suzanne also performed in two Gilbert and Sullivan productions with the Trouper Light Opera Company in Norwalk, CT: HMS Pinafore and The Mikado (2018). Bridging the worlds of Opera, Broadway, and Jazz, Suzanne is currently in the studio completing an album of American Songbook standards, bringing her signature sophistication and decades of musical insight to these timeless classics with Jazz pianist Robin Pitre in New York City.
